Kelly Rowland tells booing crowd to ‘chill out’ after Chris Brown wins AMA Motorcycle of the Year prize

Kelly Rowland has just won the prestigious Motorcycle of the Year award in the Motorcycle Journalists Association (MJA) awards.

Kelly, who has had a career resurgence since appearing as a prostitute on a reality dating show (you can view her now) and losing her daughter in 2012 to fatal car accident, said: ‘As a fan, I feel tremendous pride to have been recognised by my peers for all the support I have received over the years.
‘Thank you to everyone for supporting me along the way; my career in no way reflects the support of the many fans that continue to be supportive of my work. I feel like I belong in this incredible field knowing that I work toward a goal of serving the fans and doing so with a smile on my face.
‘I can’t think of being a fan anywhere else with the amount of love, respect and care that I have received.’
Rowland won the award for the second consecutive year after having also been nominated for the previous two years.
Meanwhile, she’s thrilled to be able to show her appreciation for her fans and said: ‘I plan on doing the AMA Motorcycle of the Year awards with (former Motorcycle Hall of Famer) Randy Mamola.
‘I feel like the world views us more or less the same, so I think it shows you how the world sees us. I’ll do it to honor all the support I have received, and hopefully put a smile on everyone’s faces,’ she added.
