As hundreds of thousands of students throughout the nation are preparing for their end-of-course exams, the United States military is out to recruit and retain the best and brightest students.
FOX’s Michaela Pereira reports in this “FOX on Education”:
Jill Patton, CEO of the Ready Minds Educational Foundation, joined us to talk about Ready Minds– the high school arm of the U.S. Army.
By the time you finish high school, Patton says you’ve probably tried math at least once, applied three different kinds of foreign languages to a single textbook and taken at least 20 final exams.
But the Ready Minds all-inclusive curricula can prepare students for anything. And new veterans are being trained to incorporate new skills into their education.
The Ready Minds initiative also trains students to transition successfully into the military, making it part of the military’s holistic educational agenda.
