The site now highlights the most popular Instagram images from the series as some of its front page’s top trending stories.
The season 10 premiere premiered on September 23 on ABC, with 7.3 million US viewers, the largest debut audience ever for an 11pm broadcast on network television.
Brown said: “We’re launching this Grey’s Anatomy vertical so that fans of the show will be able to share what they’re doing at work, at home and at the movies using our Instagram hashtag, #geoperidesart. Now, all of your secret looks and performances can be part of the magazine.”
This is the first Instagram-based newsroom to run an article from a publication, says Brown.
