Ghost Beach Band Cancels Two Shows in Philadelphia Due to Lung Condition

Imagine Dragons postpones shows while lead singer recovers from vocal, knee injuries

The band originally postponed two shows in Philadelphia, due to members suffering injuries in a car accident earlier this year, but made the decision to close the shows because lead singer and bass guitarist Jeff Hochstein was suffering from a lung condition that forced him to cancel a tour with his band Ghost Beach.

The band postponed the band’s concert in Philadelphia because the lead singer and bass guitarist Jeff Hochstein was taking treatment for his lung condition. It’s currently believed that the lung condition is caused by his time working on a massive oil drilling project in the Gulf of Mexico in 2011 and 2012.

Jeff Hochstein’s health has been the cause of some delays in the band’s schedule. He had to postpone two shows in Philadelphia, which were originally set to happen on May 1-2. He’s currently due to undergo surgery in Los Angeles on May 7 to remove lung fluid and to have part of his lung removed so he can breathe easier.

However, due to his illness, he’s given a new date, May 16-18, for the Philadelphia shows — meaning the band has to cancel the May 2 show and postpone the May 21 show.
